Directions

Whisk flour, salt and baking powder together in mixing bowl

Mix in the lard with your fingers until the flour resembles cornmeal

Add water slowly and mix until the dough comes together, you may not need to add water


Place on a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic


Divide the dough into 24 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball

Rest dough covered for 15 to 20 minutes and while rolling each one out a rolling pin.

Use no oil

4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup lard
1 1/2 cups hot water
